BYOD Bring Your Own Device

Bring your own device constitutes an opposite approach to traditional teachings. While most teachers either say "no phones out during class" or "phones out only when necessary or asked to" most people will feel most comfortable using their own technology as it is more quick and efficient. Although yes there will always be at least one person abusing the privilege, it should not take away from the students that are using it responsibly. Using your own device encourages morale of the class and freedom which encourages student learning and attention. My take on BYOD is the lack of flexibility around technology, either the technology is given or the use of your own technology is limited. Expansion of user friendliness would be crucial, projects could be more unique with students' own spin on projects but instead they are usually generic.

While I understand a part of what I want to research on, some of the ideas are not as clear and I could be limited to my own thinking. I'll need student feedback mixed with my understanding.
